Advancing Dublin’s Sustainable Transport Future

GMC is delighted to announce the commencement of construction works on the Liffey Valley to City Centre Core Bus Corridor, a flagship element of the National Transport Authority’s (NTA) BusConnects programme - one of the most significant upgrades to Dublin’s public transport network in decades.

This project represents a major investment in sustainable mobility, improved journey times, and enhanced reliability for public transport users and communities along the corridor.

Once complete, the upgraded infrastructure will deliver:

  • Faster and more efficient bus journeys Improved service punctuality and capacity
  • Enhanced walking and cycling facilities
  • Better connectivity for local neighbourhoods
  • Reduced congestion and lower transport emissions
