The Role.
GMC Utilities Group is seeking a Payroll Administrator to join our team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who is looking to develop their career within a busy and growing organisation.

The successful candidate will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring employees are paid correctly and all payroll-related records and requirements are maintained to a high standard.

Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Process weekly and/or monthly payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including starters, leavers, changes to salary, hours and benefits.
  • Process statutory deductions, PAYE, PRSI and other payroll-related requirements.
  • Manage timesheets, attendance records, overtime and holiday information.
  • Respond to employee queries relating to payroll and provide timely and professional support.
  • Ensure payroll information is entered and maintained accurately within Sage.
  • Assist with payroll reconciliations and reporting.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve payroll queries and discrepancies.
  • Ensure payroll processes are completed in line with company policies and relevant legislation.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance/payroll function as required.

The Candidate: Required Experience and Competencies:
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a Payroll Administration or similar role.
  • Previous experience processing payroll in a busy working environment.
  • Hands-on experience using Sage.
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and Irish payroll requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
