GMC Utilities Group is proud to share exciting news - we have been named the Preferred Tenderer for the BusConnects Liffey Valley to City Centre Core Bus Corridor. This landmark project, commissioned by the National Transport Authority (NTA), represents a significant step forward in the delivery of sustainable, efficient, and future-ready transport infrastructure for Dublin.

A Milestone for Sustainable Mobility

The Liffey Valley to City Centre corridor is one of the busiest and most vital transport routes in the capital. As part of the BusConnects programme, this project will deliver:
  • Enhanced walking and cycling infrastructure to improve safety and accessibility for all road users
  • More reliable, punctual, and efficient bus services to meet growing public transport demand
  • Reduced congestion and emissions, supporting Ireland’s climate action goals
  • Improved connectivity between communities and the city centre
