Third years Civil Engineering students from Dundalk Institute of Technology recently visited the watermains replacement works on Dublin Road, Dundalk.
The students had the opportunity to experience some of the engineering techniques they have learned during their studies.
Brendan Walsh, Lead lecturer in Environmental Engineering at DKIT, commented “It was of huge benefit to the students and we also want to acknowledge the staff on site, They really engaged with us”.
