In December 2024, GMC Utilities Group successfully completed significant upgrades to the wastewater network in Turnapin, on behalf of Uisce Éireann supporting growth and development in the Santry area and enabling the delivery of essential housing.
The project, delivered as part of Uisce Éireann National Growth and Development Programme, will also enhance the operational performance of the existing wastewater infrastructure, ensuring a more resilient and reliable service for the community.
The works involved the installation of 400 meters of new sewerage pipes at Turnapin Lane and Turnapin Grove, as well as critical upgrades to the existing Turnapin Wastewater Pump Station.
