Works in Drogheda underway

Works have begun on the North Drogheda Water Network Upgrade project.

The objective of this project, which is part of Irish Water’s Growth and Development Program of works, is to increase the capacity of the network supplying North Drogheda in Co. Louth. This will resolve on-going pressure issues and facilitate growth in the area.

This is an essential upgrade of the water network in Mell, north of Drogheda, which includes installation of approximately 870m of new 450mm I.D. trunk watermain and ancillary works.

The project is due for completion by the end of 2022.
